Just when things seem to be going well… my NMB oshimen, Ota Yuuri, announced her graduation during a performance today. There’s no official announcement yet, but she posted a short statement on her own Twitter:
Today at NHK Hall I informed everyone in attendance that I will graduate from NMB48. Being the first day of the tour, to both members and fans, considering what we have coming after this, I'm sorry for the abrupt announcement. I joined at 12 years old, in my 6th year of elementary school, so I've spent about 7 and a half years with NMB. Because I love it so much, the group has become a place I can feel overly at peace, and I feel I am being spoiled by this part of NMB's presence, so I decided to graduate. I hope to cherish the remaining time, one day at a time. Until my final day, I am truly in your care!!
