Hama Sayuna on Her Covid-19 Recovery

First let me say, for the great deal of worry and inconvenience I have caused due to my infection by the novel coronavirus, most of all to my fans, but also to the members and various people I am involved with, I am truly sorry.

I have been recuperating at home following the instructions from medical institutions and health care centers, and thankfully my physical condition has recovered. Having also reached the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare’s established criteria for ending my recuperation, starting today, January 3rd, I will be resuming my activities.

While I was recuperating I was greatly inspired by the messages I received from so many different people. Really, truly, thank you very much.

Thank you for your continued support as from here on I will diligently follow every measure, take care in the management of my health, and strive to carry on my activities without forgetting my core purpose and gratitude.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the support you have continued to provide us.

After being infected by the novel coronavirus and recuperating at home according to the directions of medical institutions and health centers, a member of our agency, AKB48 Team 8 (concurrent with Team 4) Hama Sayuna, has thankfully recovered. Having fulfilled the recuperation requirements of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, starting today, January 3rd (Sunday), she will be resuming her activities.

We deeply apologize for causing great concern, first of all to our fans, and also to related parties.
At our company we will continue to coordinate with relevant parties such as health centers to provide guidance on, and further strengthen our awareness of, disease control measures. And in preventing the spread of infection both within and outside of the company, ensure the safety of our members and staff as much as possible.
